Hormones – those mysterious, unseen substances circulating in our bodies in very small concentrations, that have the power to make or break:
- Fertility
- Sex drive
- Mood
- Sleep
- Mental functioning
- Maintaining a healthy weight
- Having the energy and motivation to do what we want
- Transitioning into peri-menopause and menopause
- And more
Hormones play an incredibly important role in maintaining a woman’s health and well-being on all levels: physical, mental, and emotional.
The bottom line is what is healthy for our hormones, is healthy for us. The two are inextricably linked. Healthy Hormones = Healthy Us
So what is healthy for our hormones?
Adopting diet & lifestyle habits that communicate to the body that our survival is not under threat and that there is lots of healthy food and water available.
Sounds simple right? Well maybe not. If it were, we wouldn’t have so many people experiencing so many hormonal imbalances these days.
The good new is many, if not all of the underlying factors that influence our hormones are within our control to influence and improve. The sooner we start to make positive changes in the following areas, the sooner we will be supporting and enjoying healthier hormones and moving in the direction of better health for ourselves:
- Diet
- Hydration
- Sleep
- Movement
- Stress
- Toxins
